Real neat graphs on debt and taxes and stuff. Thanks to Phil McPherson for sending these.
It seems that without the wars and tax cuts, decisions made completely by government's choice, the debt would have been significantly lower. So maybe this is the first step: to do the reverse - stop the wars and increase taxes.
I am surprised how relatively small are the increases in stimulus, Medicare, and TARP.

Maybe it is me, but these graphs suck. A good graph should be easy to understand. They awfully colorful however.
