HuffPost's is arguing that the Fed employs a large number of economists, has a a visiting scholar program, and that some econ journals have ties with the fed. I fail to see how that means the fed somehow dictates economic thought.

HuffPost loves to use the 'economists failed to predict' line and generally hates the profession because economists generally raise valid concerns about leftish priorities.

You should expand your thought; HuffPost is total and utter rot.
