Nausea from my world...

A student recently commented anonymously in my evaluations for a class I taught this past spring on MACROECON 101: "He knows so much about this subject that he is forcing us to learn so much more than the other sections of the same course, and we are suffering."

So, learning = suffering. I don't really know how to respond to that except to ask...Dude, how far in life do you think you are going to get when your main concern is not how much you are learning but rather how much you are doing compared to others? Equality is murdering excellence everywhere in our world. Especially in the minds of our young.

The picture of the crying baby is so appropriate. I had to read the quote several times because I was in such disbelief. Heaven forbid a student learn something.

Thanks Armie, I thought it up last night. Now let's go heave as we realize I am right and our future is shot to hell.

Reminds me of an old Lou Holtz quote.

“You'll never get ahead of anyone as long as you try to get even with him"

Dr. Parker,

This is one of the funniest/saddest things I've heard. Good thing I lucked out and got the overinformative professor.

Professor Parker,

You are way too "Old School" he Student is way ahead of you in terms of the "New Economy!"

Are you serious you really want someone to work and earn something? I mean like real effort vs. equality for equality sake I mean like for real --- keep it up you slave driver and I will be turning you into the EEOC

Forget the future --- this is the new Amer(euro)ica ... how the heck do you think we got those people in the white house and congress?

Now I understand why Congress can justify bailing out the teamsters and teachers pension funds!
