Morons at the gates....

I am delighted to call North Carolina my home. It is quite lovely here. However, like anywhere else I suppose, it does have its price.

To be fair, the southern(confederate) states have historically sent more men/women to war than any other state. That being said the fact that in the view of many southern people the whole "taxation without representation" thing along with other aggressive acts of the north was viewed as terrorist in nature. That being said there is some truth to this bumper sticker

The "taxation without representation thing" was the Revolutionary War against England. No problem there. However the Civil War was about slavery. And slavery was and remains the biggest act of terrorism in the history of guilty man. The South wasn't fighting terrorism, they were perpetuating it. And that bumper sticker is a stain on all decent people in the South.
