Deep thought for the day.

You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the working half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

Barrack Obama states that trickle down economics does not work. Citing many times during the campaign that just because the affluent are doing well does not mean the non affluent are doing well. I ask, Mr. President that the other side of this coin be examined. Right now the affluent are not doing so good. How are the non affluent doing?

Hmmm... Let me get this straight... I owe more money than I can pay back, yet you are telling me that I need to borrow more to get myself out of debt? Approximatley twice as much as I owe now?... Hmmm... Interesting theory Mr. Obama..........

That is very nicely said and is true on the international level (among countries), as well as being true on the national level (among people). I was just listening on XM to The Wilkow Majority where Andrew Wilkow spoke of how this concept is now at play also on a global level, with international treaties now being written to help transfer wealth from the productive nations to the unproductive nations. I think Obama is likely to sign these kinds of agreements, which will be devastating for us as a nation.
Luckily, it seems more and more people are starting to understand this reality and are waking up and screaming at their representatives. I have my senators on speed dial now. There is no time to waste.
