This ladies and gentlemen is Charlie Sifford. Tiger Woods owes this man a great deal. Like Randy Parker Hall of Fame member Jackie Robinson, Charlie Sifford was the one to go first. He was the first American of African descent to crack the PGA tour. He was treated like garbage as were so many others. He took the heat and prevailed. I saw him on TV the other day. He said "when people think of me I just want them to say 'you know, he was an alright guy'". OK Charlie, you are an alright guy. I'd settle for that myself.
